Haunted Ship- Germany's Ending

       The room was dark for another moment, you were mentally freaking out, until a flashlight was turned on and you saw Ludwig. He shifted under your gaze causing you to break the eye contact. Your eyes wandered and you realized he had changed from his 'embarrassing' costume and into a simple pair of jeans and a hoodie.

        "Um, Ludwig? Do you know what happened?"

        "Nein, it could have even been part off the actual 'ride' or it could have been someone's mistake as to not changing the bulb.We may not know until we get out of this ship."

        "O-okay, um, should we start moving then?"

        "Ja, einen Moment." He stuck his head out the door into the now empty hall to make sure the cost was clear. He turned to you and nodded. You both stepped out into the hall as Ludwig turned off the flashlight.

        "W-what are you doing?!"

        "Flashlight aren't allowed on the ship. Plus, we wanted to go through a haunted ship for halloween and we will do so. Without cheating."

        "Well then why-"

        "I brought it just in case something like this happened," he answered your question before you could finish asking it.

        You hear a scream in the distance and take a step closer to your German friend. With one hand on the wall you both continued to back track hoping to find the glow sticks once more. Just as you were about to give up you see one. The tiny glow through the darkness was such a relief but the more steps you took, the farther it seemed to be.

        "Luddy, is it just me or..." You trailed off, scared to say it aloud.

        "Nein, I believe it is an allusion meant to scare people into thinking they will never get out."

        "Well, it's working," You said in a small voice.

        "Once you know it is an allusion it doesn't work as well."

        "Yeah but..." You continue to stare ahead at the ever distancing light. You tripped over something a closed your eyes in anticipation of the ground. But it didn't come. You opened your eyes to find yourself in Ludwig's arms.

        "You really are such a klutz," he said with a slight grin.

        Your heart began to beat rapidly and your face grew red. He was so close. What if he knew. What if he knew that you liked him, no, maybe loved him.

        He helped you stand properly and continued to walk ahead, checking back to make sure you followed. You ran to catch up and walked beside him, not too close though, in fear that he would hear the beating that pounded in your eardrums.

        The deeper into the ship you went the scarier it got. Many people jumped out at you both and the screams that echoed gave you the chills. You were walking down a particularly dark hallway when you stepped on something soft. Your imagination began to get the best of you. What could it be? Spiderwebs? Bodies inflated with the gases of death? You were too scared to look.

        "Relax, (Y/N), it's probably just pillows," Ludwig said with a sigh.

        You continued to walk when something grabbed you arm. You screamed and clung to Ludwig for dear life. The hand slowly retracted and after a moment, your mind slowed and you realized the situation you were in. You were clinging to Ludwig for dear life. You looked at his face but it was a blank slate, not giving any sign of either annoyance or happiness.

        You went to step back and give him his personal space back but he held you closer. Pulling you into his arms, he whispered, "Are you scared Schatz?" Blush dusted both of your checks.

        "H-how c-could I b-be sc-scared? I agreed t-to c-come didn't I?" You said with shaky breathes.

        His eyes softened. "Schatz, if you were scared to come you could have just said so. I can protect you, you know." He leaned his face closer to yours. "Let me protect you."

        "Ludwig, I-" He stopped you with a delicate kiss full of hesitation and curiosity. You kissed back and pull away and look shyly to the ground.

        "I've wanted to do that the second I laid eyes on you, (Y/N)."

        You look up to met his eyes. The little that you could see of them sparkled with joy. "Me too, Ludwig, me too."

        "(Y/N)?"

        "Yes?"

        "Will you let me protect you?"

        "Of course." You lean in once more and take his lips as your own in a passionate kiss.



-Extended Ending-



        "Hey! You guys can't make-out in the ship!" It seemed as if it came from thin air until someone dressed as Jigsaw came out, he took off his mask and said, "You have to keep going or else everyone will get stuck in the same place."

        You broke away from Ludwig. "S-sorry." Ludwig picked you up and you squealed.

"Luddy! What are you doing!?"

        "Well we need to get through the ship now don't we? Carrying you divides our time in half."

        You giggled. "Oh, Luddy. Fine then. Onward my noble steed!"

        "Since when was I a horse?"

        "Since now." And off into the distance you went.
                             
                                          .....

        Jigsaw put his mask back on and began drifting back into the shadows but not before he tisked and said, "Horny teenagers. Why is it always the spider hall?"
